Comments: Mike and his team truly pulled off a miracle for us. Home depot postponed our flooring installation without notice 2 days prior to the scheduled date. we reached out to multiple vendors to get the job done in time for us to move into our new home, and Mike was so responsive and helpful.
We had some trust issues considering the previous flooring installer, but Mike was transparent through and through. He was out to see the space himself wishing a couple days, with plans to do the install that following weekend. I appreciated that he walked us through each step (as first time home buyers, this was a crazy process already). He was honest about what he could And couldn't price without measurements but was quick to visit to get us an accurate quote. He came out himself during the installation to ensure it was being completed well.
Overall, we're so grateful to have worked with Mike and will absolutely recommend him to others based on our experiences.

Comments: Excellent So happy with My New floors. I went with Universal Floor because they were honest, competitive and they asked me questions that I would not have considered. It showed me how honest they were to make sure that I was happy. If I had gone with anyone else the work would not have been this exceptional. I had brought in 3 different estimates and Mike at Universal Floor Covering was competitive, honest and timely. All the other estimates I brought in I felt that I was being lied to and overpriced and they were not going into the details that I would have though about. They promised to start and finished by a certain time and they were able to accomplish that. They pulled out my nasty carpets and replaced them with matching laminate, so pleased how he was able to match the pattern and finish timely. It is so hard to find the RIGHT person to invite to your house and trust them with upgrading or remodeling. I had NO fears or regrets with Mike's team, When asked who did my floors I will say Mike at Universal Floor Covering for sure. Thank you!

Comments: This is an excellent service. From day one Mike, the owner, was attentive, responsive and helpful. He stayed involved throughout the entire project to make sure everything went smoothly and as promised. At the same time I never felt any pressure to make a decision or to get the work done. I was able to set the timeline and Mike made sure it happened on my schedule and that I got what I wanted. My new flooring looks great. His installers worked hard and were nice. They too wanted to make sure the job was done right and I was happy. I'm not someone who easily allows contractors into my home to do work often fearing the worst. But I was comfortable dealing with Mike. He communicates with you so you know what to expect and he follows through. I would definitely use this service again for additional flooring needs.

The price was in our budget, he came in measured the floors quoted the price and within three days we had our floors. The floor installer was professional and worked until the job was completed. He cleaned up after himself and Mike came by to make sure that the job was getting done. The installer completed the floors in one day and we are extremely impressed with his work. We highly recommend Universal Floor Covering. Universal Floor Covering WILL be doing our next project. If you need hardwood floors a great price and professionalism you will not be disappointed look no further Mike is the guy who will get the job done right the first time.

Comments: This place is THE BEST! Mike is very honest and delivers exactly what he promises - NO HIDDEN CHARGES - NO SURPRISES!!! The work is delivered to perfection and on time. Mike inspects all the work himself and pays attention to detail. I made the big mistake to hire another company for my house with some other company that promised me a better price and faster and it turned out to be the worst job. I then contacted Mike for my parents' house and he immediately did the work - NO DELAYS- NO HIDDEN COST - ATTENTION TO DETAIL his company deserves 10 STARS!!! Comments: This place is great - and Mike was a real lifesaver. I paid to have a Pergo floor put in (From Lowes) and the installers kept hiking the prices, coming up with problems and eventually left with my carpeting ripped up telling me they needed another $1000 to "level the floor". I went through RedBeacon (Home Depot's referral database) to find someone else. I put in a request to 4 local installers. Mike called me within minutes! He came out and looked at the floor a few hours later and his crew came in the very next day to put in the floor. It looks great. The guys he sent were fast, precise, friendly and hard workers - they stayed really late to get the job done. I thought I got a bargain with the original installer and was really afraid getting someone else would cost a fortune. Not so. His price was as low as my original "bargain" and I couldn't be happier. I'm so glad Universal Floor Covering did my floor and not the original installer. If you need flooring put in, you won't have to worry if you get Mike to do it. They know their business and take the worry out of it for you.
